CITRIS could not exist without its industrial partners.

 

UC faculty and students, along with industrial researchers, work together from brain-storming ideas to developing technology that may be transferred easily to the commercial sector. In this relationship, ideas become reality more quickly than if either partner worked alone. Faculty members get the opportunity to see first-hand where the market for technology is headed so they can steer their research and students into this direction. Students benefit by being on the cutting-edge of research that can be commercially applied.
